Have your say

The Queensland Resources Industry Development Plan is our joint commitment to ensure every Queenslander benefits from our resources industry.

The plan was developed in consultation with community and industry stakeholders and, as we work together with industry to implement the actions set out in the plan, we will continue to provide opportunities for you to have your say.

We value your feedback and encourage you to follow the links for further information..

Current consultations

We are seeking feedback on the proposed coal seam gas (CSG)-induced subsidence management framework (PDF, 774.4KB).

In June this year, the subsidence management framework was withdrawn from the Mineral and Energy Resources and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2024 to allow for further public consultation.

The subsidence framework aims to effectively manage the impacts of CSG-induced subsidence on agricultural land and promote coexistence between the resources and agricultural sectors.

We are now seeking further feedback on the framework and encourage you to have your say.

Consultation closes on 23 September 2024.
